Session Two: Hands-on Practice in the Evocative Setting of the Marin Headlands

  • Hands-on shooting in diverse locations of the Marin Headlands

  • The Headlands include natural landscapes, historic World War II bunkers and tunnels, and a light house

  • Review field trip photographs in a supportive environment

About Your Instructor

Jeff Weston has been photographing and teaching photography for decades. He currently teaches at City College of San Francisco, where he teaches Beginning Photography and Landscape Photography. He has also taught Landscape as Fine Art, Architectural Landscape, Contemporary Landscape, and Landscape as Architecture at the Academy of Art University, at both the Undergraduate and Graduate levels. In addition, he has taught Fine Art Portfolio, The Language of Photography, Color and Light, Lightroom, and Night Photography, to list a few others.

He brings patience, compassion, and a genuine love of teaching to help students grasp concepts and discover their own visual and creative voice.
